A few things that make the first conversation much more useful:
- Roughly how much trail, and roughly where.
- Who the users are — hikers, bikes, horses, OHV, wheelchairs, or all of them.
- Whether funding is secured, being sought, or not yet discussed.
- Any existing survey, aerial or master plan you already have.
